Who is this experience designed for?
Brides and pre-wedding transformations, creators and personal brand clients,
executives and professionals who value discretion, women or men seeking a complete
hair reset, and thoughtful gift purchasers.
What is the cancellation policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve dates. The remaining 50% is due
7 days prior to arrival. Cancellations within 72 hours of arrival forfeit the full
amount. Rescheduling is permitted once with 14 or more days notice.
What does private lodging mean?
Clients stay in Amal's private La Quinta home, not a hotel. It is a personal,
home-like environment with a fully equipped salon suite inside the residence.
How many clients per retreat?
This is a 1-on-1 experience. Maximum one client or one duo, such as mother/daughter
or bride and maid of honor, per retreat. Duo pricing is available upon request.
Is travel included?
Travel to and from La Quinta is the client's responsibility. Palm Springs
International Airport is roughly 20 minutes away, and car service referrals are
available on request.
What if I have a severe allergy or scalp condition?
A pre-retreat intake form is required. Active scalp conditions, known severe chemical
allergies, and recent chemical treatments must be disclosed in advance. Services may
be modified based on hair health.
Can I bring a guest?
One non-participating guest may accompany the client. Additional guests are not
permitted during active service hours, though one guest may join for meals or
evenings.
What hair types do you specialize in?
Amal specializes in textured, curly, wavy, and color-treated hair. The retreat is
especially strong for hair types 2B through 4C, with techniques adapted to condition
and texture.
Is this experience confidential?
Yes. Amal' Salon does not share client photos, names, or content without explicit
written consent. A confidentiality agreement can be provided upon request.
When should I book?
Retreats are limited to roughly two per month. Booking 4 to 8 weeks in advance is
recommended, especially during bridal and fall/winter seasons.

The Retreat Path is a 12-month commitment toward the $5,000 La Quinta Desert House Residency. Monthly contributions apply as credit toward your residency. If life changes, accrued credit can be applied to Chatsworth salon services. Final residency dates are subject to availability and confirmed in months 10–11. Full terms provided at enrollment.
